Can anyone post pictures of braiding mane/tail

I braid my daughters hair all the time. However, is it possible for someone to post a "how to" on braiding a horses mane so that the only pony is at the withers? Also, how do you braid the tail? any ideas would be helpful. :D:D

There are several ways to braid a tail, and mane.

I usually do a running braid in the mane:

And a french braid for the tail:

Do you mean like french braiding or dressage plaits?

Dressage plaits

French Braid/Running Braid - Unless your horse has a long mane, this braid tends to fall out pretty easily.

Here is a good YouTube video as well. Normally the braid should be finer with thinner strands of hair taken from the sides of the dock.

WesternTale, thats a french braid, dutch braids show the braid on top, not underneath.
