I am going to write a paper about therapeutic riding and I wanted to know if anyone has any links to some good articles about this subject. I would love all of the help I can get. I have found some pretty interesting ones so far.
I just did my research paper on this (It's the field I am going into).
Check out the EAGALA website as well as the NAHRA (depending on which type you are doing)
I actually work at a theraputic barn. If you want I could give you some info on it.
I will take any information! Haha. Thanks for the help. I've worked at a Therapeutic Riding Arena but that was a awhile back. I just have to have some articles to support my paper. Thanks for the help! :-)
ok! Do you have any certin things you wanna know? Any questions? Feel free to ask as many questions!
I also work/volunteer at a Theuraputic Riding place. I am sure that with the combined experience from me and Shannon, we could answer your questions.
Haha. Yep, I work at theraputic barns also.
Are you doing physical therapy or psychotherapy?
Our barn does Hypotherapy, which is for the little kids who have major disabilaties. We work with kids who can barely use their legs, kids/adults who are blind/deaf. Kids with sensory issues. ADHD, ADD, Bipolar, and other disabilaties.
I meant the OP :) Sorry
I also volunteer at a theraputic barn. I could chip in if you need any help. At least your gonna be well rounded. I'm in Canada, I volunteer at CARD
