so i have been looking at this stallion for awhile now, he's about 30 minutes away from me and probably the nicest arabian around me. His name is CJA High Khaliber (Khalahari Wind+ X Aria CJA) you can see pics of his dam and sire here --->Inland Farms Arabians Pintos National Show Horses his stud fee to my filly will be $800 and i would be booking to him for 2011, I figure its best to book to him now before his price goes up.

I have also talked to his owner and she really likes stella and i have the go ahead to breed to him! he's only up for stud to accepted mares so that makes me happy!

How old is your filly? How old would she be at breeding?
Personally I don't like the idea of breeding anything under 5 or so years old.

The stallion is very nice, and your filly looks alright, but it is VERY hard to critique either without having squared-up photos.

she will be 5 at the time of breeding, she's now almost 3. i haven't had her very long so i never had much chance to get good confo shot's of her, and right now she's going though a growth spurt and she's a harry monster so i wont be takeing and pics of her untill she sheds out, i will post better pics when i get home. or i might have some on this comp i will look.

okay i found some more pics in my e-mail, these were taken last spring. sorry there not so great. ill be sure to post new pics this summer.

She is cute, but it's really hard to tell anything confo-wise from those pics... The second pic in the second post makes he look completely disproportionate; long back, short neck, weird angles.. but I'm confident in saying that's mostly the camera angle.

yea i agree thats not a good pic of her, taken by my 5 year old sister! lol!! i will get some new pics soon! she going though her weird stage right now for sure, she hasn't seam like she's grown like at all since i have had her, but the vet came out and she was at 13.1 about 6 months ago and now is 14.2.

southerncowgirl93 03-17-2009 11:26 PM

i think you should...they both look pretty good to breed. she should fill out more too by the time she's bred

happygoose123 03-19-2009 12:36 AM

I think its a good idea! Your must be pretty good if the stallion is only open to accepted mares and she got accepted! I dont see any problem with it. I say go for it and good luck!!!

He's a gorgeous mover for sure!! I'd say he's well worth breeding to.
