Clipping under the jaw

I know it may sound stupid, but... :-)

My both horses have lots of long hair under the jaw (like beards). Can I clip it (cut it, shave it, whatever it's called)? And if so how to do it and what to use?

I clip mine with just regular clippers. (Im too cheap to buy the horse clippers so I just use men's beard trimmers.) Or you could use scissors if they will stand still for you.

Not at all. We clip it so that it does not get pulled when the halter or bridle goes on and off.

We use a regular clippers.

We clip it so it doesn't get all yucky with soaked cube juice........use regular clippers

i use regular clippers. I would use size 10 clipper blades and go with the hair. That way it wont look all chopped up.
