2003 Buckskin APHA/PtHA Gelding for trade/Sale
I am new here but have been lurking the forum for a few weeks now. http://www.horsegroomingsupplies.com...lins/blush.gif
ApHA Reg. #741,768
PtHa Reg. #132103
I can email the color PDFs of his papers if you would like.
I would like to trade my show gelding for a dead broke (no more than 12 years old) ranch/cow/trail horse. My preference is for a Quarter Horse or Paint and a gelding but I will make special considerations on the gender.
Must not be afraid to go out alone or with a group. Must not have an issue going out at night for trail rides and must not be afraid of cows. Nothing fancy, just a all around nice ranch horse. Must be sound with no vices or issues.
Horse trade must be in California only. If you want to purchase, we can ship him.http://www.horsegroomingsupplies.com...forum/wink.gif
If you do not have a suitable horse to trade, I will accept reasonable offers.
*** Please note: I do not have a current video and unfortunately I have no way of making a new one. I only have an older video but it gives you an idea of his movement or you can just come out and see him.
*Maverick* (Just Spot Me A Scotch) 2003 APHA and PtHA Buckskin Gelding by Will Spot Ya-Gelding Plus and Breeders Trust. He will be 6 on March 23rd.
*Sound-(no soundness or health issues) and no vices. The only supplement I give him is hoof power.
*Trained by Nettie Danielson of All Star Show Horse (Simply Paint Partners)
*I have owned Maverick since he was a yearling
Maverick is a great mover, talented and has won alot with limited showing. I was always in the placings and ribbons with him.
*2008 Temecula Valley Paint horse Western Pleasure Green Horse champion.
*earned Pinto Points in English
*earned PAC credits in Halter, showmanship, western pleasure. He has won numerous grand champions at local shows as well as year high end awards.
Maverick can show on the local level as well as the breed shows. I just do not have the extra money to take him to shows and he has not been in training for a few months so he needs a tune up. He is not spooky at shows. He has shown in all types of arenas and weather (night time, covered, uncovered, windy days, etc).
Maverick would make an excellent amature or youth horse. He does western pleasure, English, halter, showmanship and trail.
He still needs some finishing such as a flying lead change. Great horsemanship prospect.
I am constantly getting compliments on his movement and how cute he looks it the ring. You can see in the photos below that he loves his job-no sour faces like you see on some show horses. He loves arena work.
I am selling/trading because I no longer show and I need a trail horse. This horse has too much talent to be a trail horse.
I really hate parting with him and I dont want to do this but since I am not a trainer, this horse would be better served with someone who can get him out to shows or for someone who love arena work. http://www.horsegroomingsupplies.com...lies/frown.gif Please, please, please to good home only. I love this boy and if you look at the photos below, you will see why.
The halter photo #4 is Maverick as a coming 3 year old. Photo #2 is current.
