leg feels stiff and strange
Well, since november (when I got my pony) I've noticed that my left knee comes over the knee pad on the saddle. My right leg flexes comfotably down but my left leg feels quite stiff and strange. The stirrup leathers are quite new and deffenitly a pair but I have tried putting the left stirrup down and the same thing happens, my knee is still over the knee pad and it feels shorter but at the same time too long. I've also tried putting my right stirrup up a few holes, it feels uneven but my leg is still flexable and doesn't come over the knee pad. Has/does anyone else experience this and what shall I do? Any stretches ect that will help?

P.s- for some reason I have a feeling its not called a knee pad.... When I say knee pad I'm talking about the squashy part at the front of the saddle where your knee goes :)

Kneerolls, lol

It sounds like you aren't able to get the weight down to your leg, so instead it's popping up.

Try riding with your stirrup leathers crossed over your horse's withers. Then see how your saddle and legs feel to you.

How old are you? You may have also outgrown your saddle.

I knew it didn't sound right lol :D

I ride quite a lot without stirrups and I feel fine, I'm 13 but the saddle is an adult
