Schooling Show Jumping Heights
I was wondering what is the highest you have ever seen the jumps at a schooling show? I came across a place that I will be showing at later this month that has 4' Hunter courses. I was a little like, "huh, do people actually enter that class?" What's the highest you've seen? And did anyone enter those classes?
For the place we are going and the type of show, I doubt that there will be people to run the 3' classes (which sucks cuz that's me)
But I know that there are many different schooling shows and they all attract different levels of riders.
Biggest I have seen in a schooling show is 3', with the only entries being a few of the students and some trainers. C rated shows I have seen up to 3'6", with VERY many entries in the 3', 3'3, and 3'6 categories. 2'6 is definitely the most popular in both of those, though.
I've commonly seen schooling shows run up to 3'6 here. I know the ones I go to have HUGE 2'9 and 3'0 classes, pretty big 3'3 classes and then people get tired and tend to drop off by the time they're over.
