There're this bump on my TB's leg...
And I have no earthly idea what it is. I initially thought he popped a splint, but it's hard as bone and doesn't move at all. It's on his left leg, right below the knee on the inside of the canon bone. It's been there for a good six months and hasn't changed at all. He's not off the that leg and it doesn't seem to bother him. I don't have pictures, but I can get some next time I go out. There was also a mare that had the same thing, and also didn't seem affected by it.
From the description, do you think it's something I need to worry about? Does anyone know what it is? I'm clueless.

If it hasn't changed in 6 months, doesn't bother him even if you apply pressure, no heat, no tissue swelling, I wouldn't worry about it. Could be from an old injury.

Maddy, one of my ottb has something like this ... ill try and get a pic- i think it is a calcium build up but it doesn't bother so i didn't worry about it either.

My horse has that too. The vet told me it could be a calcium build-up, but it doesn't bother her so leave it alone.
