Troxel Riding Helmet

Well I was in Tractor Supply and found a great deal on a Troxel riding helmet with the dial fit system in a size large. However I usually need a medium, but thought bc of the dial fit it would be ok. But it isn't . I can't take it back bc it was on clearance bc it didn't have a box. What would you do?

Keep it? Or sell it for really cheap to a friend, or eBay it.
Because there was no box, you can't know if it was actually straight from the factory, so it could be cracked somewhere you can't see...

Sell it on craigslist or something? Ebay? Good luck! =)

supposedly it was a display and they are no longer carrying this style or maybe it was the color (periwinkle)I don't see anything wrong with it but it's just way too big:)

I'm very skeptical of troxels as i've seen a few fall apart - one so easily that it just fell apart when the woman fell off at the trot from a 15h horse and would up with a pretty serious brain injury and memory loss - she had to be medivaced to the hospital...

I prefer the Tipperary's for schooling and GPAs for showing - much better protection. Just my two cents.
