A quick question from a new user :)

Hi! I'm new here and learning how to navigate around this site, but I have a question abot posting pictures.

I know and understand it says the photo needs to be .JPG, and that my picture is. I've tried resizing it, changing format, uploading, image hosting and God only knows what else. I can give links, but I'd like to know how to get the pictures on for my Avatar, and for Phillip's profile.

All Help is aprechiated :)

First off welcome
there is a short video on how to do basic uploading to a message here http://www.horseforum.com/horse-pict...es-video-8034/
for the avatar I use photobucket.com to resize mine to thumbnail size.
go to your user cp and click on edit avatar. Follow the directions there and that should work. I've never used the profile photo so can't help you out there but if you are wanting to do the avatar...that photo like min under my name, then thats how its done :D

This message pops up everytime I try to make my avatar O.o

"Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file."

I get that a lot, there may just be a problem with the photo upload program. I just tried to add a photo to the horses in my barn and they wouldn't load either.
You might try just transferring them from another site like photobucket or flicker. Just copy/paste the URL
either way I'll leave a note for the admin.

I alway used tinypic, but i tried my own personal farm website, and photobucket, flickr is blocked on my computer o.O

I just left a note for the administrator, I'm not sure if he will be on line today but it will be fixed ASAP
