Thats my old horse. I just sold him. So I mostly want a crit of me but you can crit him.

he looks exactly like my ottb! ya'll look pretty good overall just a few things. He has very loose and sloppy knees, maybe try some gymnastics to tighten him up. my guy is the same way over jumps that size. he just dangles his legs but over bigger jumps lifts his knees up nicely. also, you are making too big of a move over the jump which will interfere with him over the jump and on landing. dont throw yourself forward over the jump but push everything down. wait for him to jump and let him close your hip angle as he comes up. and in the 1st 2 pictures you are not releasing at all which can really cause problems later but much better in the last ones. but he is very cute!

I agree with equine, and personally, I'd take my stirrups up another hole or two... your legs looks too long for jumping :/ maybe it's just me? And to me, it looks like you're overjumping... those aren't very big jumps, you're way to far out of the saddle and laying really low on his neck? I suck at critiques, so ignore me if I'm wrong lol... it's just what I see.

I think you're rising far enough off the saddle, which would mean its at the proper length. What you do need to do is sit back and wait for the jump. As I was told to do too is don't over jump it. Its not that big of a jump so you don't need to calapse as much onto the horse and be laying on its neck.

love reading these critiques! I was thinking the same thing, looks like you are way up on the horses neck for such little jumps
