I've just gotta accept it :( RIP My darling kitties...
I'm just so heartbroken right now.
A couple weeks ago two of my cats went missing. I am just now coming to terms with the fact that they are not coming back. None of our neighbors have seen them either, and it was the same time the coyotes were coming close to the house.
Squirrel was a cat who was just amazing...She was mean but she was sweet at the same time. She took years of begging until finally, four years ago, I got to go pick my kitty and bring her home. She was a wild kitten but she was just irreplaceable... We called her Squirrel because she looked like a grey squirrel.
She loved my pillows the best :(
The second cat we lost was named Marshmallow. He was a cat who showed up at my trainer's barn and wouldn't let anyone touch him. We herded him into the tack room and got him in a box, then brought him home. He turned out to be the sweetest, cutest cat ever. He was just innocent. Whenever we would raise our voice he would hide behind the fridge. When raccoons came on the porch he would climb to the top of the screen to get away from them. He was so kind and loved attention from anyone.
I am heartbroken about losing Squirrel, but the thought of Marshmallow getting eaten just makes me sick. Squirrel was tough, she chased off the dogs and knew how to defend herself. Our little Mallow was just scared and innocent
Part of me hopes they just ran off and someone picked them up and is loving them in their warm, cozy house...But I know that's a one in a million chance out here.
RIP Squirrel and Marshmallow...Mommy loves you...
aaaaw :( im so sorry for your loss
I am so sorry, I pray they are safe and did not suffer.

Squirrel looks just like my Cookie did. We had to put him down a couple of years ago due to cancer :-(. I'm very sorry for your loss.
I'm so sorry to hear for your loss ): I hope that they turn up...
How heartbreaking indeed! There's always a sliver of hope though. A friend of mine lost her cat in a similar manner a few years ago. We put up signs, called the SPCA, posted ads on craigslist, etc. but he never turned up. She feared the worst and eventually gave up after a couple of months of trying. When she had to move to a different state, she received a phone call from her dad saying that there had been a strange cat hanging around her old property and that it looked like the cat she had that had gone missing. He was able to catch it, took it to the vet, and the microchip came back reading as her lost kitty! We all were so overjoyed. The impossible can sometimes be possible.
What beautiful kitties! I'm sorry for your loss, if they are truly gone. I hate coyotes for this very reason. I have lost many kitties to them, they are one of only two wild animals I will shoot on sight if they are on my property ( possums are the other).
I also have a story of a long lost cat being found. My mother came to visit and brought her cats. She decided they would be ok if she let them out. Wrong. But it was almost 2 years later that I spotted one of them living in one of our out buildings! Believe me I spend a lot of time outside but he managed to stay hidden all that time. He has now become friendlier but I still can't touch him, lol

Ughh, there is nothing worse than not knowing, I lost a dog 2 years ago and it was so painful not knowing if she was alive or dead, it came as a relief when her body was found and we got closure.
Cats, well you never know, and that is so frustrating, they could still turn up, but you can't hope for that forever.
So so sorry that you are going through this.
Oh, no. :-( I'm so sorry to hear that... We've lost two of ours, and it's just sickening not knowing what happened to them.
It's tough keeping them in the house when they're used to being outside. I'm really trying to make ours stay indoors, but most of them were either strays or barn cats before we got them. :-(
Oh, honey, I'm sorry . Denny's right, the worst part is just not knowing.
