Where to purchase supplements? Does anyone have any good suggestions on where to purchase vitamins / supplements? |
I would check Welcome to SmartPak |
Whatever company you choose, be sure you aren't paying a lot of money for a product that has fillers in it because products with fillers aren't worth the powder to blow them to your state capitol and back:-) Products need to be guaranteed as 99% pure (and hold up to that if tested) to give any benefit to the horse:-) |
valleyvet.com or statelinetack.com or doversaddlery.com or horseloverz.com or smartpak.com |
i would recommend smartpak before anything else. they're great! |
if you're boarding go with smart pak they are super easy and the person who feeds at the barn would have to be a complete moron to make a mistake. If you feed yourself I'd go with valley vet...they have good prices...ship fast...and ship free if you order over $60. |
has anyone use Race Products, Supplements, & Injectable Vitamins for Racing Horses & Greyhounds They have some blood builders that look interesting. Smart Pak is good but they seem a little pricey. I guess you get what you pay for. |
SmartPak definatly gets my vote on where to go. I love them. It really simplifies everything, especially when you need to go to an away show. Just grab, say, to packs, and you're off instead of having to lug around five buckets of various supplments. |
That sounds awesome for daily vitamins but what about your pre event supplements? |
Vallyvet, horseloverz.com, horse.com are places I usually shop for supplements, dewormers and vaccines. I've never used smartpak I know it is highly recommended but it is too pricey for me being on a budget. |
