Blue Roan or Grey?

Currently in a heated discussion with a "cowboy" who bought this horse, running around claiming its a Blue Roan. To me its clearly a grey. What do you think?

Grey.

Maybe blue roan under the grey but that is impossible to tell at this point in the greying process.

Once you see a true blue roan you'll never mistake it for grey. My CW friend had a blue roan appaloosa, my KMH geldings breeders recently finished a blue roan KMH mare, and I saw a beautiful TWH filly blue roan at auction. The grey is so dark that is refracts blue to our eyes.
But, then again, I've seen PLENTY of ads for the magic 16'2hh horse...I mean, pony. =b

1. He can claim it's blue roan, or pink pinto, or yellow with purple polkadots if he wants  It's his horse. You'll probably not convince him.

2. It's grey.

Grey. Give it a few years. When his blue roan turns practically white or even flea-bitten, he will believe.

Doubt it Cat. People tend to claim they've "roaned out."

Am I mistaken, but I thought that a true roan doesn't "roan out."
