What do you think the problem is?
I have just purchased a new TB mare. She is 13 and has been used for hunting for the past 3 years.
Today i noticed that her rear pasterns are very odd... i am unsure if this is a conformation issue or a incorrect hoof trimming or what? she isnt in any pain, she is 100% sound on them but im just wanting to see what others think?
Please note that the pic i took makes it look worse as she was just about to turn on her right rear leg hence the fact her hock looks twisted etc....
Welcome to the forum!
Can you possibly take a picture without her moving? For me, I can't tell what is in question and what is caused by her making a turn.
without her moving her right leg (the one without the white) and when shes standing still and straight it looks exactly as the left leg (white) is looking in the picture. Shes very skittish so is extremely hard to get her to stand still to get a picture... i was lucky to get this one!
