frustration! { rant }
UGH! im not sure about anyone else, but im sure that everyone atleast knows ONE person like this, ( and please feel free to share, so it doesnt make me feel so mad! ) Well, you know them "know-it-all" people?! My boyfriends 15 year old sister is like that! and it drives me INSANE! She barely knows how to ride a horse, and tells ME what to do. (ive been riding on and off for the past 5 years mind you ) Or what i should be doing in different situations that it only takes common sense to figure out. For instance; My pony and another horse got into a little 'argument' and Candy (my horse) kicked another horse in the paddock and both horses had pretty good cuts on them, and this girl was telling me to tell my B.O. all these things to do; IM PRETTY SURE MY B.O. KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING considering she has over 30 horses! And another thing that makes me SO mad, is she rides one week out of a whole year at some stupid camp, and she has NO IDEA how to ride with another horse in an indoor arena. She tries to pass on the outside, and doesnt understand that the horses need to be a good distance apart from one another when riding in close quarters. But when you try to tell her NICELY what she could work on, or for her and the horses safety, stuff she needs to change or learn, she will look at you like YOUR the stupid one, and get really pissy. And the list goes on and on...:evil:

Sorry for the novel. i just really needed to get that off my chest!

i just dont know what to do about this. Its REALLY bothering me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much though to those who read this. :-):?

I know how you feel. I've met a lot of people like this. I pretty much let them go on about what they know (or think they know). It gives them the satisfaction they need, and I well, I sorta just tune them out. The worst thing you can do is get into a big argument with her. When people think they are right and won't back down all it will do is cause conflict.

Oh my; I know EXACTLY how you feel. I was at a schooling show last weekend, & this girl was such a know-it-all. Daytona refused a jump (remember, she hasn't shown for awhile!), but I got her over it twice. :D
The girl was like, "Maybe she's just having an off need to work her more". Uhm, excuse me? I'm not the one who fell off twice & was really hyper when I was in the ring, making my horse nervous. :lol:

Ack, I can't stand those people either. They're everywhere at shows!
