Sore on my horses belly
One day my horse came out of the field with a sore on his belly. It is where my leg is so whenever I ride it opens back up! We are putting Swat on it. I know the obvious answer would be don't ride and let it heal but I have a show this weekend and I need to ride. I would like it to healed by the show this Saturday:)
I like Nu-stock better then swat it helps dry out and heal sores faster and stays on better. Could you maybe put a piece of gauze over it with a piece of duct tape to keep you leg from rubbing it. I once used duct tape on my horse who had a cut on his shoulder that he kept rubbing, the duct tape did not remove to much hair or seem to cause any discomfort when I removed it. You would have to try not to rub the duct off while your riding.
