Bright As A Star aka Honey Boo Boo IFT Skip N My Assets

Honey Boo Boo was put in foal to Skippy for 2014, for a palomino colt (we hope). She was covered on 05/12/2013, so that gives her a "due date" at 345 days, of 04/22/2014.

I'll definitely get a pally out of this cross, Skippy is a cremello so it can't be anything else. The only question will be, "How much white will this one have?" Honey doesn't have a huge amount of body white, so solid or pattern is the only variable.

I'm new to the genetics regarding color, you just taught me something. While I was watching Sage today I looked this up so I would understand. Thanks 😊😊!

I'm far from an expert in all this color stuff, but there are folks on here who really know it. I know basics like, cremello plus chestnut = palomino, cremello plus bay = mostly buckskins depending on various modifiers. My favorite way to check is this site here: Color Calculator

The do really quick lab work too, if you ever need to do some testing.

Here's Skips 2 future girlfriends:

The buckskin is Shiner's Moon Dance by Presidente Shiner and the dun is going to be Miz Dunsmoke, she's got Mr. Gunsmoke and lots of Doc Bar in her lines. I call them Goldie and Wart (the dun has juvenile warts on her nose).
