to buy or not to buy puppy
 

we had two dogs my brothers elderly golden retreiver and my young staffy cross pup two months ago our golden retreiver got put down from cancer. my brother was devistated and has sunk into depression as i think the dogs death set off a lot of memories from family past. anyway his and my birthday has just passed (were twins) and i was thinking about buying him a pup but thought it might be too soon. now watching him with my puppy and talking to him i think a puppy might be the best thing for him what do u think??

Sounds like a lovely idea. Sometimes it helps to have something to focus on and take your mind off things. And a pup will certainly do that. :D

Could you not ask your brother? Might be better to check with him before buying.

lol i wanted it to be a suprise for him. but i hinted around it once or twice and talk about mixed signals first one i got 'oh yeah how cool would that be id love a pup' second i got 'dont care' i think i stirred up some emotions might just leave it for a week or so and then ask again
