OK so I have an aussi coat, long with the leg straps etc. I have actually only used it once, years ago, it is dusty and sunbleached in patterns (which I know I cannot fix) however I was wondering if it is OK to put in the dryer on a cool setting to soften it up and get the dust off? If it is OK, will the oil remain stuck in my dryer?:?
Don't know about the dryer. I have washed mine with a scrubbing brush and soapy solution, then hung it up to dry in the shade. When dry, I have re-waterproofed it with oilskin waterproofer and it has come up nice and soft again.
Yeah, that is what I would do. I have never washed mine and I wouldnt put it in the dryer.
