First up his mane. I decided to do something I've never done before. I want his mane to grow long. We recently had an incident with a running braid and him RUBBING on it, and rubbed off a chunk of his mane. So I'm trying a Friesian mane growing trick. If it works for them maybe it'll work for Ethan.

Anyhow, I also did something I never thought I'd do. I cut a bridle path. I never "got" the point. It always seemed like it didn't matter. Then again I'd only seen photos and of course no one cuts bridle paths on Friesians. ;) SO I did it, and you know what? I like it. It looks so much cleaner.

Now after I massaged some special sauce into his mane and into the roots. He LOVED the massage.

Then I parted his forlock down the middle on accident and loled. He's Dr. Spock.

His tail touches the ground, he's got such a fabulous tail. I wish he had some mane and forelock too. He's look great with thick eye length forelock darn it.
