Gypsy Vanner help
i wounder if you can help me i have got a Gyspy Vanner Gelding he is 4/5 yrs old i got him two weeks ago i was told that he wont pick his feet up wont school and is very stubbon in the time i have had him i can pick his feet up to clean and have lunged him in a menarge all be it for 5 mins , he is black and white with a very long main and great feathers mite free well they have not shown their ugly head  as yet and a very thick /long tail which has been trimed slightly to keep it out of the mud.
i know it will take time for him to get used to me but i think i have done well so far , i am looking to do in hand shows with him next year in local shows i have looked all over for tips on how to get his feathers , tail and him white as he has not been groomed or cleaned very often prior to me having him can any one help me please .
Wash the horses tail with QuickSilver and let it soak for a bit. If it turns the tail a bit purple use water and white vinegar. I washed my white paint mare with QuickSilver about 3 times per week for three weeks and it was MAGIC. You can also spray Wow! on his tail :) I've talked to folks with Gypsy's that say it works!
