So I was wanting to know thoughts on the E-Cigarette, for you smokers. I had smoked for a number of years, but quit and went to dip. I had gotten curious about the E-Cigarette and decided to try it. I'm not sure if I like it lol has any former smokers switched to the E-Cigarette? What are your thoughts on it? Do you like it?
I have the Inferno vapor cigarette...its pretty nice and it DEFINITELY helped me slow down some.
but it doesn't give me as good a hit as a real cigarette
I use e-cigarettes when traveling and have to lay over in non-smoking airports.
I've tried a couple types and have had trouble finding one that is similar to cigarettes in taste. But, there is a shop opening in town on October 1st, and I plan on checking there.
I would like to go to them completely and know a few people (5 or 6) who have.
I use Green Smoke. Been using it for 2 weeks now, have not had a real cig at all. I have felt a huge difference in how I feel and what I can smell. I used the disposable first, just to try it. I just ordered a bigger kit, one with full nicotine level and the other pack with a lower nicotine level. I am going to keep using til I get down to the zero level.
The only advice I could give would be to make sure they are made in the USA, not China. While you dont' have any idea really what is in them, I just feel better if they are made here in the USA.
.I have not found any of the USA ones that you can buy locally (in shops), only found the China ones. So I have been ordering online.
.. My husband uses the V2 (I think that is the name) and I use the Green Smoke. I think both of those have the number one and two spots for e-cigs. Granted they are expensive, but I feel better using them.
I'm vaping right now:-). It's been 10 months and I never looked back. It'll take a little trying to find the right combination of batteries and flavor. I currently use V2, love the mint tea and red flavor and at home have the plugin battery, when on the road the chargeable one. But just ordered a car kit, so will be plugged in soon also. Better taste, better hit. I also went to tanks instead of cartridges. For flavor.
I refill the tank, V2 has the eliquids. Turns out to be about $1.50 per pack. Can't get much cheaper lol.
The higher the nicotine the better the throat hit. But I did find eliquids where pepper is added to low or no nicotine liquids for more hit. The flavors are amazing, anything you can think of, and then some. The fruity or dessert types can actually replace the one or other craving for a candy bar;-)
I had just bought a Blu disposable to try it out. It says it is made in the US. so that's good I suppose :-P I got the classic tobacco flavor and it tastes like coffee  I'm not sure if I want to invest in a full kit yet or go back to the dip. Does anyone have any information on it's effects on your lungs? Thanks for the information! It seems like there are many different brands of these things  how do you pick!?
I started out with Blu, wasn't impressed. So Dr. Google was asked. I found several forums and started reading. Ended up with V2. It's v2cigs.com, I think. My experience with them is good, nice customer service, free shipping and you can try out the oneway first, or get a battery, a charger and their variety pack, one of each flavor, to pick.
I found the refill of the little tanks with their eliquid is much better, taste wise, than the cartridges. And you can use other eliquids, are not forced to buy theirs.
It's basically trial and error. But as a guideline, their "Red" is pretty close to red cigarettes, strength depending in nicotine content.
As for what it does to your lungs....I was coughing for a week. But can't say for sure that it was from the cigs or farming on dry fields (lots of dust) lol. Now I'm feeling better, have much more air and no more cough. I suggest you read some forums, lots of info on ingredients etc out there.
