shipping a cart
Has anyone shipped a used two-wheeled cart? I found one finally but it's 1200mi away.

Sorry, Saddlebag, I've not done this with a cart but we bought our hay mower from out of province. If you contact a local transporter, it can hitch a ride with whoever is going through the area on a normal run and there is extra space for it (cheaper that way but you have to wait for the right moment). I think we paid about $300 for hauling our mower and it came in less than a week.

Thanks. Actually I'm not the shipper, the person in BC is. I'm waiting a response to see if she's willing to ship.

In 2006, it cost me 700 to ship a carriage from Vermont to Texas. It came in a refrigerated truck!
