Hey,
Show saddle isnt really practicle for barrel racing because it dosnt have alot of padding in the knees, which is fine in showing where you just canter around, but in barrel racing it could make it easier for you to loose balance and fall off.

Maybe if this is your first saddle go for an all-purpose, its timeless and its practical to do everything in

Those Saddles are made in Kanpur, India

Heard of too many people that their Horse had back problems after using those things, not to mention some had broken trees in the saddle after a few rides.

I would look for a Used American Made Saddle or save up for a good new one.

What kind of showing are you going to be doing? If you show up in a western pleasure ring with that saddle, you're likely going to get a few stares, and not the good kind either. That's a parade saddle, and definitely not what you see in the ring today.
If you're just looking for something fun to ride around in and not show in other than a few parades, a saddle with that design is fine.
Light oil is "in" right now, although I've been noticing a little bit of a comeback of the darker oils recently.
I completely agree with SouthernTrailsGA about the quality of that particular saddle, it will not stand up to much abuse at all, and is likely not to fit your horse well.

This is an example of the type of saddle that's "in" right now:
