Obstacle Course?

Soo I am taking my horse to a obstacle course challenge for the first time. He has done them before so I am not worried about him, I just have one question that may be stupid... is it just the fasted time wins? Or slow and steady? Thanks!

It depends. Some have judges at each obstacle and they "score" each horse based on demeanor, approach, etc. Others I have done just work on a "pass/fail" system, and you get a ticket for each obstacle you pass. You get prizes based on how many tickets you get. THere are no real "winners" with this, and my competitive friends were not that happy with this vs real scoring (albeit really subjective).

Have fun! I am considering going to one myself on Sunday!

Thanks!! My horse is your pleasurey/all around type but can go go go go go if I want him to and I just wasn't too sure how I should do it, I will ask the judge on the day of the event!
