I use Morglo, its helped my horse put on a lot of weight. [I mean like 200-lb]

kchfuller 06-11-2009 04:38 PM

is it a feed?

Stabilized rice bran pellets provide a lot of fat.

I use calf manna, it has 5.5% fat about 12% protein, plus his purina senior he has put on alot of weight.

Ultium in place of the Strategy

I like Cocosoya oil.

I just re-read the question. A good high fat feed is Blue Seal Performance LS. It's low starch and among the highest fat you can get in an extruded pellet form, 12%.

Super-Gain is good too. When I used to do horse rescue years ago, we put rescued horses on this (And I mean the walking skeleton kind of horses we got in). It's amazing stuff.

I just add a little corn oil or cracked corn with the strategy. works great.
