Bitless bridle in Hunt Seat Equitation

In lower levels, can I use a bitless bridle? I know every competition has its own rules, but more often than not, is it allowed?

I'm fairly certain that they aren't allowed at the B and A shows that I have attended. Not sure if that helps! xD

As of last show season, bitless bridles of any fashion are not allowed in any Hunter type ring. In jumpers, pretty much anything humane goes.

Most low level/local shows follow a recognized show's rules, be it breed or USEA. Either way, no bitless bridles. Jumpers will be the only area you can use a hack or other "nonstandard" equipment.
