Shetland?

This is Olive and she will be 2 years old in Dec...Last night we taped her at 11.2h and for her blanket 48...Most of the places i read about Shetlands say she is already pass the max height. Is she mixed with something? What do you think her height will be when she stops growing.

anyone?

She looks like a cross to me, she's rather fine and leggy for a Shetland.

Honestly, she looks like a cross to me as well. Not because of how refined she is (she is young yet and not all Shetlands are hairy and chubby, just the ones who aren't conditioned) it's more to do with her size. Just in those pictures alone she looks big. Perhaps a Welsh?

When I said "fine" I mean the bone on her legs and the shape of her head, nothing to do with condition. The length of her legs are probably what is making them look fine. Shetlands are supposed to be very stocky and workmen like Breed Standard

Shes deffinitely not a purebred anyway!! Maybe a shetland crosses with a fellabella type pony?!!

Definitely not falabella. Falabellas are the smallest of the small miniature horses of a certain lineage, not their own 'breed', although they do have their own registery. She'd be very tiny of she was falabella x, and probably the only falabella cross alive. They're very exclusive about their breeding programs.

I agree she's a cross though. I'm not seeing welsh however, she just doesn't have that welsh face that even crosses get. You can string test her to see how big she'll get.

I'm gonna say Shetland cross as well. Something about her face says Welsh to me =/.

I also believe you a half-blood between Shetland and perhaps Dartmoor pony? I am not so sure to me, but she is only 2 and behind built over them still grows anyway
