Horses help kids overcome their challenges
This is a video I made last week. I was struck by how horses were instrumental in the story of kids with special needs and even the owner Janice overcoming unique life challenges. I hope you enjoy.
By the way, all the horses were rescued and the white one with Janice is completely blind. Another interesting story. http://woobox.com/jcmvnr/vote/for/1525427

Welcome to the forum, Maximus! Thank you for sharing such an awesome story involving horses and humans helping one another-I had tears in my eyes within 30 seconds....Just a reminder that there are so many out there who care for those in need :)

Welcome, Maximus! I was particularly interested since i am a horse person in you r area and have never heard of this wonderful place! The onle one we ever seem to hear of is Eq.......ter, in Honeoye, and honestly, some of us have had less than stellar experiences with them when trying to donate free lease horse to their program. Mine actually ended up at Lothlorien, In East Aurora. Another has just come back to us as a "reject" since they had a hard time catching her in the field. (not because she could not do what they wanted.....) anyway-good to know you are there. How do you get your horses? Just curious? Your program might be a good fit for my guy if ever he can no longer do he "job" at Lothlorien.....

Thank you for the warm welcome all. Never Say Never has a lot of heart and it's amazing how this came about because of a hardship yet someone who knew her purpose. I'd just like to see them succeed so I volunteer when I can and was blessed to help them put together a video. Regarding how Janice finds horses, I'll pass the question on to her. I know they are gentle horses that are good with kids. Maybe something could work out in the future.
