Trick Training! Show yours!
I taught my 2 year old how to bow, I'm SO proud of her! She's learned this in a matter of about six training sessions total, today was the first time she went down onto her leg! Now I just need to bring it together and start cueing her to do it!

Show off your trick training!

I have taught a couple of horses to bow, but I can't seem to find them on my PB...I geuss I'll have to see if I can find the cd's that they would be on. One filly I had caught on in 2 sessions! She also learned how to lay down later that summer... Right now, my main focus with my new boy is manners, manners, manners!! Tricks will have to come later!Lol!!!

Nice bow! I know you are against this MacabreMikolaj :D, but I'll post it anyway cause it's a trick training thread.

I don't have any pictures, but I've taught the half bow (I'm very against a horse going down on her knee because it can really hurt them, I've seen a few horses go dead lame because of it), hug, kiss, shake, down, fetch, come, and smile. I basically make them big dogs, haha.

I do these things too. Apparently all the workers at my barn get a big kick out of the fact that Java gives hugs (you can tell him other side, and he'll switch side, too). Shake, kisses, 'give me chin' where he puts his chin in my cupped hand. We were working on sit and lay before I moved to California. I might have to give that a go again. Java will also bow with his head down, put his ears forward and perky on command and lower his head on command.

He also neighs every time I call him 'Java Baby' from five feet or further away. Not sure why, he just does. ?
