Anyone insterested in a custom hand-tied rope halter?

Hello,

I was curious if anyone here is interested in a hand-tied cutom rope halter.
I made bright orange halters for everyone in my 4H club this year, and everyone really liked them!
It would 10.00 per halter, plus shipping. If you and a friend (maybe not even on the forum) each want a halter of the same color, I can do so and combine shipping (a flat-rate envelope will probably do the trick). I would have to recieve payment beforehand, of course, to buy the rope and such.

I will post pics later. Any questions? Please ask away!

can you post pics of them?

Sure!! I have one pic of a halter I tied- one of the first ones! But, my computer is sooo slow...I'll try and post a pic later today.

Sorry, It's big! So basically, they're just like the traditional rope halters you see anywhere..double over hand knot and the fiador knot together, although these two halters don't have those knots in them...all of the halters I tie now have those knots in them. I may be able to tie a halter with two knots over the nose - I'll have to experiment.
Hope the pic is what you want!

I am goning to save up and buy one from you. How much is shipping?

would you beable to do bright pink?

SamboStar 06-24-2009 05:09 PM

Sure thing!
Wow, I'm surprised someone actually wants one! Sure, I can definately do bright pink, that is, if the rope comes in bright pink. They had bright orange with black tracer, so I'm thinking any pink might have another color in it. I'm thinking I might find another rope supplier...Maybe, maybe not.
A USPS flat rate envelope is $4 - $5 - perhaps I could find out how much shipping would cost in a different envelope by weight...I'll look into it for you!

Thanks again for your interest! I will consult my mother and will try to work it out!
