Mud/ Rain rot

M-T-G is good for mud and rain rot. If you just pick the scabs it doesn't kill the bacteria, but put M-T-G on it and it will the the bacteria and it shouldn't come back. But once you apply it, try to keep the area as dry as you can (blanket the horse when it rains...) It should take care of it.

I have been using an iodine shampoo. It works great, you have to sord of rub it off and massage it off, also let the shampoo soak a little b4 rinsing.
