anyone know about cattle?
So we raise black angus cattle and we recently leased some new pasture land and put some bred second calf heifers on it. This past early spring they started calving about a month early and we lost 3 calves. The calves bein born were really small. We moved them home so we could watch them more closely and we able to save the rest. They probably wouldn't have been able to survive if they wouldn't have been at home. We can't figure out why this happened. The heifer were bred back to the same bull from their first calves and we had no problems with them other then the usual first calving problems. anybody have any ideas of why this happened?
