Virtual trail ride!

I filmed this yesterday on another trail ride. I think my saddle has been retired for the summer, lol. This is my fifth real ride bareback. Our normal "advanced" trails were being mowed and cleared off so we had to take the easy trail.

I find it remarkable that I can ride my horse at a trot, and a canter and a big STUPID spook (all in teh video) without a saddle and not fall.

Yet I can't walk across a flat surface to my car without tripping once. http://www.horsegroomingsupplies.com...ilies/wink.gif

Here is my video. If you go to the page, you can watch it in the HQ. It's a little better looking that way.

I just wanted to share. I hope ya'll are not sick to death of me yet.

Also, do you think I SHOULD get a bareback pad or do you think we're okay without one?

i'm in awe that you can ride bareback and film at the same time. that was great. you have an awesome trail to ride in.

Thank you. :) I have just begun the bareback thing. I thought it would be a good way to learn to be a better rider.

Or something along those lines.

You're probably ok without a pad, but if you enjoy bareback riding and you will use it a lot, it wouldn't hurt to have one. It'll be a little more comfortable, for sure.
