Any good photo programs? Dose anybody know of any good FREE photo programs such as Photobucket, Photoshop, etc? Those aren't free but you catch my drift..Thanks! |
Morning Sunny, Yes there are allot of programs out there however some of the best ones I have seen are 1:GIMP (GIMP - Feature Overview) 2: Picasa (Picasa 3: Free download from Google) Both are open source (free) programs. Hope this helps :D Regards |
If you want something free that is just as good as Photoshop, GIMP is the way to go. |
I recommend PhotoFiltre. You can do all basic things with it and it's enough for laymen. I use it and feel it's easy & qualified enough. You can check it (and some kind of review of it) here: PhotoFiltre - Download |
Paint.net (Gimp is better though) |
Thanks guys, I will look 'em up! :D |
Flickr has the best quality photo uploads that I've found. You get 200 downloads, but after that, it's $25 a year (well worth it). As for editing, Paint.Net |
i am a pro photographer. i use photoshop but people frequently ask me this question! i recomend GIMP to everyone of them. if not picknic the photo editing software that you can get with flickr is good. i see you have a flickr i will check it out, if you are intrested mine is www.flickr.com/photos/gfryphotography my icon image is one i took this week :D happy snapping and i will take a look at your images and comment :) regards |
Just thought I'd throw this out there to tell everybody features I want/need, etc. 1) Carve out focused object and put in different scenes. 2) Special effects like mist, cool letters, etc. 3) Different 'stickers' like birds (not cartoon), realistic stuff. 4) Free! --Thanks-- How is GIMP downloaded? Which link? |
