omg this is sooooo cool i love the Capriole how did you get her to do all this??

FoxyRoxy1507 07-16-2009 04:44 PM

i love you! lol i wish i could get my horses to do that, esp the bowing but they dont have the patience to do that! lol the play dead is amazing!!! so do you have different hand signals for everything or how does she know what your asking for everything?

WOW! U have a very talented horse (and so are you!!!)!
:O

Visibre 07-16-2009 05:01 PM

Thnx for the reactions!

yes, for every trick I have a different word/hand signal, but there are combinated things, like the capriole,

the capriole is let her rear, and then, in the rear, ask for a buck, then u have a capriole.

and by lay down I first give the lay down command, than the lay dead, and if I want I let her sit :P

Very impressed. :-)

Wish I had the time to teach mine more. We taught my Hungarian mare to lay down, but she hasn't done it for ages. She holds my walking stick for me when I'm handling her and need 2 hands, (I have rubbish hips and sometimes don't walk too well) and she picks my stick up if I drop it. :D

Out of interest, how long to you 'train' per week or per day?
