im not sure if this is the right place but anyways -
what are some common itchy spots for horses? i can never seem to find my horses "itchy spot" any comments are appreciated! thx in advance! =]
Many horses LOVE to be scratched there.
Aero loves having under her chin, on her cheek and up around her ears scratched - as well as her rump.
Ooh! Ooh! Under the forelock!
Diamond and Rowdy LOVED to be scratched behind the ears. I guess it really depends on the horse, ans where they like it.
Be careful scratching some mare (in season) at the withers. Thats where the stallions will bit them during breeding. Some mares will get very mad  Just an FYI not true on all mares. :D
All mine like their ears scratched inside and out. Around and under the tail and down the back legs. Its really embarrassing when a non-horse person sees me scratching their butts :lol:
lol! i'll try these spots on my horsey! how do you know if you hit the right spot? just curious =]
Your horse will have the look on his face of sheer ecstacty. Lol.
Lip sticking up, stretching neck, starting to relax and drop head, etc.
duchess loves her ears scratched, shell get like this dopy look on her face lol.
Fras and Vidas upper lip sticks out and starts to twitch if you hit the right spot
