-Rambo Duo blanket set (shell, neck cover, medium and heavy liners), 84, mint condition, navy with green trim- Was asking $325-- now asking $300
An innovative layering system for exceptional warmth and versatility. Three blankets in one! The Rambo Duo is a performance innovation from Horseware Ireland allowing your horse’s insulation to be adjusted quickly and easily whenever required. A simple yet technical rug, the Rambo Duo combines a 100gm. waterproof/breathable Outer Rug and 300gm Under Blanket to provide a lightly insulated rug for those slightly chilly days and a Heavy Weight Turnout of 400gm for colder ones. I also am including a 100 gm under liner. If you add the 100 gm liner to the outer shell- you have a medium blanket. So with this one blanket you get a 100 gm light blanket, a 200 gm medium, and a 400 gm heavy. Plus a hood! Three surcingles, Wug style clip front with velcro, and tail strap. The Rambo Duo outer blanket, neck cover, and 300 gram liner retail for $400 and the extra 100 gram liner retails for $46, so the entire package I am selling costs $446.

Tack

-Fleece girth (without tags but I suspect it’s a Dover equalizer), size 46, used, brown- Was asking $15, now asking $10
Far left of picture. Well used but elastic is unstretched. May have my initials marked somewhere. Safe and useable condition.

-Intec Fleece girth, size 46, used, brown- Was asking $15, now asking $10
See above, far right. Well used but elastic is unstretched. May have my initials marked somewhere. Safe and useable condition. Less used than the prior girth.

-Jaguar leather contour girth, size 46, new with tags, autumn gold- Was asking $100 now asking $90
Made in England. Double elastic ends help prevent pinching, reduce bulk and assure even girthing. Softly padded interior and anatomic shape are great for sensitive and/or girthy horses. Stainless steel roller buckles reduce bulk. Center and side rings for attachment of training aids. Autumn gold color (can be oiled darker, matches the color of Edgewood, Antares, CWD, and most high-end tack). Retails for $295.

-Jaguar XJS saddle, 17.5 medium wide tree, used in excellent condition, autumn gold- $1,400
Jaguar XJS Deep Jumping Saddle (made by Harry Dabbs). Wool flocked. English made, high quality. Normal wear, no damage, I would describe this saddle as “excellent” used condition (lots of photos in my photobucket album). Recently wool flocked, checked by a master saddle fitter, deemed to be in excellent condition, and has not been used since. Billets and all leather areas are in perfect working condition. No tree damage. Saddle has been used but babied. Sold without fittings but with a gray saddle cover (not pictured). This saddle retails retail for over $2,700 and they are becoming increasingly difficult to find for sale in the U.S., asking $1,400.

Apparel

-Van Teal show shirt, size 36, well used and older but still appropriate for showing, interesting plaid with earth tone colors and a hint of pink/peach- Was asking $20 now asking $18
Comes with two unmonogrammed collars. Shirt shows a bit of overall color fading/muting but is still show appropriate.

-R.J. Classics hunt coat, size 8R, excellent condition, tan with plaid in peach, taupe, and off white- Was asking $50 now asking $45
Not sure precisely which model this is, but I think it’s the mid line one that retails for about $250, not the essential which is the lowest level. Pretty tan plaid looks great in the summer with any color pastel shirt.

- O'Keaheys Beige Riding Tights, size ladies small, new without tags- $25
These brand new (no tags) riding tights are made with super stretch 88% Cotton & 12% Lycra fabric. They are great for summer riding - constructed from 14 ounce cotton lycra fabric which make for a rugged all-around tight. Beige in color. O'Keaheys tights feature generous Ultra Suede knee patches, seamless inner leg construction for added comfort, elastic draw cord waistband with belt loops and a small interior pocket.
They are marked an Adult/Ladies size small. I think they run really, really small and I would suggest them for either someone smaller than a size 6 or else more of a pre-teen/teen type build. The waist, unstretched, is 22 inches and has an inch or two of give when stretched. The inseam is 26 inches long. These tights retail for $49.95. I am asking $25.

Four-way stretch smooth nylon twill with cotton back. Patented V3 fit system in waist. CFS™ (Calf Fit System™). Stretch Clarino™ knee patch. Side zip. Contrast piping at outseam. Slash hand pockets. The rust color was IMPOSSIBLE to find in any tack shop. I had to search and search for this, and paid $135.

Other

-Donjoy iceman, lightly used - Was asking $75 Now asking $70
The Donjoy Iceman is one of the industry's most recognizable sports medicine products for cold therapy complete with a history of quality only Dj Ortho can provide. The Iceman cold therapy system is used by orthopedists and sports medicine professionals following a variety of arthroscopic joint procedures to assist in minimizing pain, swelling, and inflammation by providing up to 7 hours of continuous cold therapy before needing to be refilled with ice. The cold therapy unit holds up to 11 quarts and is connected to your choice of a wrap-on or cold pad which baths the joint with up to seven hours of cold pain relief. Retails for $150.
McKinnon sells this EXACT item, only with a horse-specific adaptor for $415 and called it the “Ice Horse.” The horse adaptor can be purchased directly from McKinnon for approximately $30—and then voila, you have an Ice Horse only it DIDN’T cost you $400+. Here is the link to what the ice horse is… Ice Horse Continuous Flow Cold Water System
I am selling a complete, working Donjoy Iceman. All you have to buy is the horse adaptor.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS…
Please contact me via email rather than through private message vxf111 @ yahoo.com (I do check private messages but I am much quicker/consistent on email).
Items are available first come, first served and no one has dibbs on an item until they’ve paid or made arrangements to pay and notified me of such. Please don’t negotiate unless you’re actually prepared to buy if I accept your offer.
Buyer pays actual shipping costs.
I accept PayPal or money order. I prefer PayPal. My PayPal address is vxf111 @ yahoo.com (same as my email).
There are LOTS of pictures of all the sale items here… Pictures by vxf1112 - Photobucket Please check them out! Before asking about the condition of an item, or for more pictures—check and see. Maybe I’ve already photographed what you want to see.
Would accept trades but what I am looking for is fairly limited. I could use size 5.25 or 5.5 thick mouth D ring or full cheek snaffle bits (rubber mouth or other plain, no twists or waterfords etc.) or the same size bit in the Pessoa loose ring cherry roller. I could use a Rambo/Rhino/Amigo turnout sheet or heavy blanket in size 81 (good working condition without rips/tears or other damage).
Thanks so much for looking!

Pacifica 07-27-2009 04:37 PM

the rust breeches are SOOOO tempting! Wish I wasn't broke from show season...

fiona13 07-27-2009 08:06 PM

how much will shipping be for the dover girth(far left) to area code 08075?

vxf111 07-28-2009 10:49 AM

Erin_And_Jasper, thank you for the offer. I am only looking for Horseware brand sheets/blankets.

Pacifica, the rust breeches are super cool and just don't fit me (I went and rebought them for myself in the correct size). :( They need to go to someone who will use/enjoy them. I am motivated to sell 'em. If you're in the continental U.S. and can do $80, they're yours and I'll ship them to you for free.

fiona13, I think I replied back to you via email but if that wasn't you-- it's $6.50 to ship the Dover girth via USPS Priority Mail.

vxf111 07-28-2009 01:05 PM

Dover girth has sold. Konig boots have sold. Thank you.

vxf111 07-29-2009 12:16 PM

Intec girth has now also sold.

vxf111 07-31-2009 11:49 AM

Bumping up... measured the new baby horse last night and it's looking like he's already an 81 and on his way to getting bigger-- so that Back on Track sheet isn't going to work for him. If I can sell the stuff I don't need... I can buy him some new toys ;)

barefoot 08-01-2009 10:42 AM

I want that saddle soo bad.. Hm.. I'll have to sell mine first and we'll hopefully see.
I've been looking for a MW saddle in amazing condition. Have you ever ridden in it? How does it feel?

vxf111 08-13-2009 11:25 AM

All of the fleece girths have sold, the RJ Classics Hunt coat has also sold.

Barefoot, sorry for the delay on answering you. I forget to check the threads. The saddle is awesome. I rode in it off/on for about a year. I actually have 4 of the exact same saddle except in different tree sizes. I LOVE my Jaguar XJS saddles! Perfectly balanced, the horses love them (wool flocked and fairly adjustible for the back), they are really well made and durable. But 2 of my 4 horses are retired and I no longer need so many different saddles.
