Is my horse the right build?

Is a BLM Mustang QH mix an ok build to jump?

It all depends in the conformation, no matter what the breeding is. Pictures would be more helpful.

Some of it depends on conformation, but for lower level stuff conformation faults don't mean a horse won't be able to do it. Heart and try can make up for it and the horse could love it and actually do pretty well.

It depends solely on the conformation and willingness. I have a mustang that would not be a good jumper. I've seen others that excelled at jumping. Also, if a horse enjoys it, then they can overcome minor conformational faults; the same goes the other way, if they've got good conformation for it but they don't enjoy it, then they won't be good.

Do you have good pictures to critique his conformation? That would help greatly.

ETA: never mind, I was going to explain how to upload pix, but I have no idea how to do it with a cellphone. Sorry.

Thank you! I am not going over 3 feet most likely, but obviously I would start a 3 feet jumps, I will slowly work up to them.
