Show Off Your Arabs!
I know there's gotta be some more arab lovers on here, so lets show off our lives!
I'm the owner (more like I'm owned by..) a 15hh purebred arabian gelding named SF Money Market "Mark". He doesn't really look very arabish (straight-profiled head, fatty =P) and he doesn't know he is one either. He's extremely calm and couldn't have a care in the world. You name it, he's seen it and couldn't care less.
I've owned him for almost 4 years, he's now 8 years old. We mainly compete in hunter/jumpers and have just recently started doing some small breed stuff. Enough with the talk, here's some pics of my love<3
Barrel time! Time of 16.986:
And us doing regular hunters, which is why he's long and low and not really framed up:
My mom has a QH/arabian mare, she's an awesome horse! Love her to pieces but she's kinda wierd sometimes, other times hard to ride...but you can't say she won't teach you something every time you ride her!
Enjoying a roll
Out for a ride
Now that I've retired my older mare and Eve's not yet ready to be backed, Flika has become my riding horse. My mom is crazy about her so I have to be really careful with her, but everything is "my fault" anyway so I might as well cause it!
And more rolling LOL
Aww, she's a beauty!
Blackwolfs Onyx (Onyx)
oo i'm so excited about this thread! My boy Rocky is 14.3 hand purebred polish arabian, 15 years old. here's a couple pictures of him.
Ahh he is absolutely stunning! Gotta love the typey arabs (unlike mine, haha). They are so graceful.
Onyx is STUNNING!
She isn't really mine, she's my trainer's but I worked around her on the farm..Her name is Bella's Caliph and shes a 1998 mare.
She's an Egyptian Arabian.
This is my lovely lady Lacey. She's not registered or anything fancy like that. =P
Showing off her high stepping abilities:
Looking suspiciously perky...
4th of July (don't let her calm look there fool you, she was hyped up)
I was messing around with her and decided to free jump her. Hahaha look at how much she over jumped that. I love her.
meeting a bunny
"Hello camera/food person!" (she doesn't have a very dished profile either...)
^^^did a rat decide to make a bed in her forelock? Maybe so...^^^
Sorry for all the pictures... I figured you guys wouldn't mind.
Nobody ever wants to photograph me riding so there aren't any where she's actually doing more than running around. Sad day.
Edit; You know what I just noticed? In pretty much all of these pictures she has an ear turned towards me. Cute.
Here's my gelding, Braveheart W, who is for sale
