What were you thinking?!

I was flipping through a supplier catalogue yesterday and took a close look at some of the bits they offer.
I can honestly say this is the worst bit I think I've ever seen...

A "Screw head bit"

... Huh?

Yep. The mouthpiece is the same as that of a screwdriver; sharp edges and all.

Holy sh*t! What would that be used for?!?!?!?! Like what was the purpose of it?!

tempest 07-31-2009 02:23 PM

Ouch...how evil.

Wow! I gonna get one for my sensitive hyper fast paint! Please, please, please, post a pic!!

RedRoan 07-31-2009 03:59 PM

Yeah i've seen bike chains ... but a screw? My lord...

polkapiggy 07-31-2009 04:40 PM

0.0 what would posses someone to do that?! how pointless and stupid!

smrobs 07-31-2009 04:44 PM

That just goes to show the ignorance of people. That is just horrible, I have cut my fingers on screws before so I can only imagine what it would do to a poor horse's sensative mouth. }:(

Oh wow... I am disapointed in Rod's for even carrying that bit. Twisted wire is bad enough! If you have to use a "screw" bit, then I'd say you need to give up that horse to someone else and move on...
