Only my horse!
We did get him out, a little bit of Ace, a tow strap and a lot of manpower.... Only my boy!

He looks amazingly calm for the predicament he is in. Glad he is okay.

He really was. He just wouldnt go backwards for us because I think it hurt (his belly is wider then his shoulders). Once we got Ace into him.... and the tow strap around his chest we were able to pull him backwards... His hips are a little raw.

I posted a thread about my filly being Murphy's Law on hooves. I changed my mind. YOUR horse is Murphy's Law on hooves. That really is hilarious. I'm glad he's ok though. =]

Wow, that reminds me of the pic of that puppy that is sitting in the Y of a tree and is stuck. Why in the world he would decide to try to go between them instead of around will be a question for the ages. ROFLOL, only horses. *shakes head and smiles*

Aw, poor thing! How long was he stuck?
When we first got Dancer, she had a HUGE mat in her tail - someone had braided bailing wire in it and left it there. We had worked the bailing wire out (I thought) and were trying to comb out the mat a little at a time. Unfortunately, Dancer went down to the pasture and got her tail hung up on a tree branch, and couldn't get loose. She must not have been there long before we found her. We had to cut a lot of her tail off in order to get her free because she had tangled it up around the branch and it was a hopeless mess. She still has more tail left that a lot of the Appys do around here, but it had been so long before... she sure looks embarrased now!
How do horses get themselves in such pickles?

...maybe he "use-ta-could" fit? When he was a baby?

I could totally seeing my dummy doing that  Glad he was ok :)

That's funny and sad at the same time. Next time ... there's always a next time ... maybe you can try using oil, or some other lubricant to help him through.
