Schleese vs Tekna saddles

I wanted to know what people have thought about either of those brands of saddles. I've been switching over to dressage from having done hunters for years. Those I will always do lower level hunters, I have become in love with dressage and in love with Schleese branded saddles. I've been lucky enough that I've been able to ride a great gelding at the stable we board at, and the owners has a custom Schleese dressage saddle for him. I've been lucky enough to regularly ride him in it, and I am in love with the brand.

I've also recently discovered a newer brand of synthetic saddle that I have been very impressed with called Tekna. I've been doing some research on them and had the chance to ride in one, and I was blown away at how comfortable it was. A friend of mine who trains at a local barn also gave the saddle a go, and said it positions you so well.

My concern is of course quality. The famous quote of "you get what you pay for" is of concern. Any opinions or thoughts on that brand? The price is in the low hundreds, so to me its really not a big investment-especially if I get a good investment for schooling purposes.

I would love to hear if anyone has also had a chance to try them, or know of someone who's tried a dressage Tekna branded saddle, let me know. I would love to hear any info you have.

Tekna vs Schleese is like comparing a Kia to a Lexus..
I dont like either brand, personally. Your best bet is to get out a few reps for a number of saddles and or a fitter or two to look at the horse and recommend a good saddle.

Hulsebos, Hennig, Black Country and others are IMO far better quality for the price than either of the two saddles you've listed. If you're looking for a cheaper saddle with full custom, or a full custom feel, Ideal and Patrick are both great brands.

Well, I have a Tekna dressage, and I like it quite a bit.
