Albion SL saddle
I'm considering purchasing a Albion SL saddle, built 2003. The seller advertised the saddle has "wooden key hole tree". Does anyone know what this means?
It is a name for their trees which are specially designed to accommodate the high, narrow withers and broad, flat back of modern warmbloods
That what I was trying on my mare but even in the wide tree it was pinching her withers. She a Warmblood with high withers but they are wider than my 30yo QH. Nice saddle though.
