Horses and College [RANT]
So I just transfered to go to MSU (Montana State) and my goal forever has been to ride on the Rodeo and IHSA team. At the very least, the IHSA team. And now that I have my class list, I have no idea how I'm going to pull it off. All my classes are in the middle of the day and practices start around 7 plus club meetings every other week. I have no idea how to fit work into the mix so that I don't go bankrupt in the process. How has anyone else done it?
I don't have a problem getting my schoolwork done, (Made Deans List past 2 semesters) but I don't have enough hours in the day to do clubs, work, and go to school. All the jobs around here that fit my schedule are paying min wage ($7.25) an hour and don't start till 10 in the morning.
So for all you horse-owning graduates, how did you pull it off?
Right now I'm living off campus ($625 a month split 3 ways) do you think living on campus is a smarter idea? Any tips or advice besides giving up the clubs or something?
I have the option of getting an extra $4000 in unsubsudized loans if I want...Is paying the interest off during school worth it or should I be getting into as little debt as possible?
Sorry for the scatter-brained rant..
