M. Toulouse VS. HDR Dressage Saddle
Hi.. I'm about to purchase my first dressage saddle. I have two saddles I'm interested in.. and would love some feedback on these two:
M Toulouse Aachen Genesis Saddle,
HDR Adjust To Fit Buffalo Skin saddle.
I sat in the Toulouse.. and the seat seemed comfortable. I wasn't entirely inpressed about the knee flap. I usually like some type of block there.
The store didn't have the HDR in stock, and I'm not familiar with the Buffalo skin.. so I obviously don't know much about the seat, other than the big knee block.
What has everyone else experienced?
I LOVE my M. Toulouse saddle. Even though it isn't a dressage saddle, its just your regular English saddle (with the genesis system as well).
It fits my filly well, very comfortable, sharp looking, and soft. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a saddle. From what I know, buffalo leather isn't great and should be avoided.
Thanks for your feedback. Have you had to adjust your tree much? I have two horses, so the genesis system really appealed to me.. but wasn't sure how much of a pain it is to adjust it.
