Qualities/characteristics of bloodlines

I've been having trouble with understanding the characteristics and qualities of bloodlines. I familiar with various bloodlines/pedigrees, however, what can they tell me? For example, my mare is Miss Dry Pages, I looked her up on allbreedpedigree Miss Dry Pages Quarter Horse

I know that her doc, bar, sugar, and dry bloodlines means she is cowy, but what about all the other ones? I may read and be familiar with the names but what do they say about the horse?

Any suggestions?

Lady Bugs Moon and Go Man Go were great running horses and sired a bunch of good running horses. Cutter Bill was, of course, a cutting horse and did ok as a sire.

The horse has some good breeding a few generations back, but I didn't see too much up close that I knew about.
