what does your farrier do...
of your horse loses a shoe within a week of it being put on?

He comes back and puts it back on free of charge. My mare got her foot stuck on somthing (maybe a root) the day we had to go to fair and he met us there and fixed it. It was bent all kinds of crazy ways.

and what if you cant find the shoe, will he charge you for the shoe?

mine puts a new one on free, talk to your farrier, it seems common practice

He comes out and puts it back on the day after or that afternoon if he can.
I'm not entirly sure if its free or not.

Mine will put it on for free so long as it's within a week or two.
My Farrier is so nice, but wayyy too talkative. Normally he's done shoeing within 20 minutes but doesn't leave for an hour. Haha.
Disappears, which is why we didn't use him after that.

Just make sure she isn't losing shoes a lot. If she starts to pull shoes, and never did before, it might be time to look for a new farrier. My horse never lost a shoe before and then she and a bunch of other people's horses that use the same farrier started to as well. Then my horse came up lame because we discovered the the moron has trimmed her foot very poorly. When she lost hers I found it immediately so he put it on free of charge. Not sure if they'll charge for a new one or not but I would talk to him.
Our farrier fixes all 'flats' free - unless the horse was due anyway.
