What new equine product would you like to see on the market?!
Please Help! I am studying Equine Science and have been asked as an assignment to create and market a brand new equine product. What I would like to know is what day to day horsey people feel is missing from the market. What could help improve your daily routine with your horse, what new gadget would you like to see? All ideas welcome and thank you for your help
Something to help with stifle-stiffness for horses that can't be stalled more than an hour.
I've always wished there was more selection out there style wise. I love personalizing my saddle pads, halters etc but I've found few companies that offer what I like.
As for gadgets and routine... Hmm theres lots out there already it will be hard to come up with something new. Gadgets that have been excellent and I love include the EZ Mount, blocker tie ring, bit warmer, peacock stirrups and the gullet attachments that allow you to use a western cinch on an english saddle.
Searching for inventions I came up with this site- lots are pure fantasy lol but one can dream! I love the idea of an automatic bandage roller.

I also found this in my search... I laughed :D

Oh also more draft/large WB tack. There is not nearly enough out there. I have to literally hunt for it!
A mechanical device to lower a saddle onto a horse's back when the owner is troubled with a back back or shoulder. When I tore my rotator cuff months went by before I could lift a saddle on anything higher than a pony.
Magic De-Shedder spray. Spray your winter-fuzzy pony and he's magically sleek, shiny, and shed out...
A robot to pick my horses hooves for me. I'm 17, and it hurts my back. Sad huh?

I have always thought it would be cool to have a mini camera mounted on the top of my horses bridle.
Cynical, I don't have spray but a patch of sand can sure help get rid of the woollies and put a nice shine on a coat.
